Elmscot Altrincham has gained the Leading Parent Partnership Award which aims to provide education settings with a framework to deliver effective parent engagement.

The LPPA is an independent accreditation which investigates a number of key areas which are critical objectives for settings to provide the best experience for both parents and children in their care. These include: supporting through transition phases as the child progresses; encouraging parent participation; effectively communicating; providing clear and accessible guidance; and establishing good links between nursery and home, right from induction.

The nursery was found to adhere to all objectives, which were solidified by conversations with stakeholders and testimonial information. The final verification report states that the nursery was found to have a partnership ethos, where parents and staff work together for the benefit of the children’s development.
