WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 9TH MARCH 2026

Next week we will be -

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens Next week we will be focusing on Science Week, we will be looking at various things such as letters and numbers matching with the periodic table. We will be planting some seeds and decorating the garden which helps the children learn about the life cycles of plants. We will also be doing various different experiments such as sinking and floating and making volcanoes.

Song of the week - 'We’re Going On A Rocket Ship’ Book of the week - ‘Little Sunflower’

Ladybirds Next week the Ladybirds will be looking at Science Week! We will be exploring with different experiments and looking back at our numbers. We will be making our own “cement” using sand and shaving foam and using the diggers to construct our own blocks! We will be making our own flowers in the craft area and going on our daily mile to pick some! 

Butterflies Next week in our Baby Room we will be exploring colours through a range of sensory and creative activities while also preparing something special for Mother’s Day. The babies will enjoy colourful messy play, sensory baskets and exploring different textures using bright paints, scarves and flowers. These experiences support babies’ early curiosity, sensory development and language as we talk about different colours together. We will also be creating some special keepsakes for Mother’s Day for you to treasure. ????
