WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 8TH DECEMBER 2025

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week the Clever Cats and Kittens will be learning about the Christmas story and practicing our songs for the Christmas singalong. They will be developing their finger agility and hand-eye coordination by decorating the Christmas tree.  They will also be developing their writing skills as they make wish lists for Father Christmas. We will be doing a variety of Christmas crafts.

Ladybirds This week the Ladybirds will be using different tools to hold and help support our grip by pushing the rice into the triangle shape representing a Christmas tree, the children will be able to make marks in the rice. We cannot wait to sing Christmas songs and start the festive fun!

Butterflies This week in the Baby Room, we’ll be focusing on sensory-rich Christmas experiences to introduce the festive season in a calm, engaging way. The Butterflies will explore a Christmas sensory trays with soft “snow”, shiny baubles and tinsel. Through these activities, the children can enjoy the colours, sounds and textures.
