WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 24TH NOVEMBER 2025

We will be learning -

Clever Cats Next week, we will be looking at the theme of road safety. We will be talking about the rules of the road and what we do and do not do when there are cars driving past. We will be bringing those skills into the real world when we go out on the daily mile, making sure we adhere to the rules. Whilst out on our daily mile, we will exploring different signs, looking at the shapes and finding out what they mean. We will also be counting the cars we see on the road. We will be looking at traffic lights and playing games to understand what each light means. Can we stop at red and go at green!

Clever Kittens and Ladybirds Next week the children within the Toddler Room are focusing their learning around transport and road safety.

To begin the week the children will be listening to ‘We All Go Travelling By’ and talking about the different modes of transport that they can see within the song.

The children are also going to be exploring marks they can make using a range of tools and resources including paintbrushes, stamps, cars and trains. The children are also going to be working together to create their own road safety signs, such as speed limit signs and STOP signs.

  Butterflies Next week the Baby Unit will be exploring different types of transportation as part of road safety week. We will be using the cars out of our small world to do some painting with. We will also be exploring different sounds transportation make.
