WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 24TH NOVEMBER 2025

What we will be learning -

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week the Clever Kittens and Clever Cats have been exploring nursery rhymes and we have focused on ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ for our craft activity and all the children have made twinkling stars. We’ve also been singing the Goldilocks song and comparing size - small medium large and thinking of alternative words like enormous and tiny- please stay on the word hunt!

Next week we will be focusing on our Christmas songs getting ready for our singalong nativity and we will also be learning about road safety so travelling on a donkey has its hazards but so does working around and travelling on by car! So we will be practising our road safety knowledge and looking at road signs, including those that give information, those that give warnings and noticing the different shapes which is also something that you can watch out for while you’re out and about!

Ladybirds Next week in Ladybirds, we will be learning all about road safety in a fun and creative way! We’ll be making our own colourful traffic lights and road safety crafts to help us spot out important symbols and colours when we are out and about! We will also be singing lots of catchy songs that remind us to stop, look and listen before crossing.

Butterflies Next week we will be looking at the colours red and green to link with road safety - linking them to ‘STOP’ and ‘GO’. We will model safe street behaviour and use calm words about stopping, looking and listening when out in our environment.
