WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - WEEK COMMENCING 3RD NOVEMBER 2025

Next week we will be -

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week we enjoyed our dancing, learning to follow patterns in rhythm using sticks and dancing for our Diwali celebration. During next week, we will be talking about fire rescue, safety and care in relation to Bonfire Night and making a HUGE firework- it will also give us a chance to explore risk and how rules and boundaries keep us safe. Extra special stories we will share are ‘Frances the Firefly’ and ‘Ringo the Flamingo’ both get in fiery trouble!

Ladybirds This week the Ladybirds have been celebrating Halloween in lots of fun and creative ways! The children have enjoyed making their own handmade decorations to put up around the room and taking part in lots of spooky crafts and activities. We’ve had such a fantastic time exploring all things Halloween! Next week, we are learning all about Bonfire Night and continuing our crafty fun. We’ll be creating colourful firework paintings using brushes. The children will also be learning about staying safe on Bonfire Night! It’s sure to be another exciting and creative week full of sparkle and colour!

Butterflies Next week in the Baby Room, we’ll be celebrating Bonfire Night with lots of exciting sensory play! The babies will explore sparkly playdough, squeezing and squishing it to help develop their fine motor skills and strengthen their little hands. We’ll also enjoy watching different coloured lights in the dark, explore colours and experience calm sensory stimulation.
