Next week we will be -

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week in Preschool we have been building our amazing space rocket which is now ready to launch! We have been talking about planets and some of the children can use the planets names and we all have discovered that we live on earth.

Next week we will be learning about recycling so we will be discovering solar power and thinking about categorising different types of materials such as wood, plastic, metal and glass. Please make a point of pointing out to your child what things are made out of so that they can join in with the activity. We will end up at the recycling centre where we will be categorising items into buckets by type of material.

Ladybirds Next week, the Ladybirds will be exploring Recycling Week. In the tuff tray, the children will be sorting recycled materials by colour. For our craft activity, we will be creating colourful water bottle flower crafts. These activities will help develop the children’s fine motor skills, promote sensory exploration, and support their understanding of shapes and colours. We will also be discussing recycling and its importance in looking after our environment.

Butterflies Next week in the Baby Room, the babies will have the opportunity to explore a tuff tray filled with sensory shakers. They will get to listen to the different sounds produced by each material by scrunching and listening attentively.
