Leading childcare provider Grandir UK, home of multiple nursery brands like Kiddi Caru and Dicky Birds, has been Great Place to Work-Certified™ for a third consecutive year.
This accreditation is awarded to those organisations that provide an exceptional employee experience and reaffirms Grandir UK’s status as an employer of choice in the Early Years sector.
The certification process sees organisations anonymously survey their employees using Great Place to Work’s unique Trust Index Survey. This captures essential data regarding workplace culture, leadership impact and employee experience which is then assessed and analysed to get a result.
Grandir UK employees praised its inclusive and equitable working environment. For example, 94% feel they are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation and 93% believe that they are treated fairly regardless of their sex.
Positive feedback such as this also resulted in Great Place to Work once again recognising Grandir UK as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2025. It sets Grandir UK apart as an organisation working to actively remove the barriers to career progression women face and who has a people-first culture which is free of inequality and bias where all can thrive.
Gemma Goodman, Head of HR at Grandir UK, comments, “We’re incredibly proud to have been named a Great Place to Work for 2025 and recognised on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list for the second year in a row. These recognitions reflect our culture, which champions respect, well-being, and opportunity for all. With so many women at the heart of our workforce, we’re especially honoured to be recognised for creating an environment where women are supported to thrive and succeed. It’s a testament to the passion and dedication of our teams across every nursery and our support office.”
Caron Moseley-Helbert, Marketing Director & Head of CSR at Grandir UK, comments, “We are absolutely delighted to have achieved the Great Place to Work accreditation for 2025. This recognition is a true reflection of the culture we’ve built across our nurseries and support office, where people feel valued, supported, and proud of the work they do. Our teams play such a vital role in shaping young lives, and we’re committed to creating an environment where they can thrive both personally and professionally.”
