WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - JUNE 30TH

Next week we will -

Graduates Next week we are going to be having lots of fun looking at farm animals and what we might see at the farm! We are going to continue with rehearsing graduation and having so much fun!

Clever Cats Next week the Clever Cats will be looking at the Golden Rules and how to role model to the Clever Kittens. The Clever Cats will also begin to look at 2D shapes. Our song of the week is ‘The Circle Song’ and the book of the week is ‘A Squash And A Squeeze’.

Clever Kittens Next week the Clever Kittens will be exploring their new classroom and where everything lives. We will be focusing on putting the correct items in the correct place. Our song of the week is ‘Tidy Up Song’ and our book of the week is ‘Sorting At The Market’.

Ladybirds Next week the Ladybirds are going to explore the world of bees. The children will be buzzing with energy as they develop their gross motor skills, finding their rhythm, gaining control of their full bodies, practising their dancing, and waving around colourful scarves to pretend to be summer flowers. We are also going to practice finger rhymes, for example, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Buzzy Bees are in the hive.” The Ladybirds are also going to take part in sensory activities, where children will use their senses to explore different textures, smells, and noises.

Butterflies Next week the Butterflies will be focusing on physical development! We will be doing a lot of tummy time, using the pillows to sit with little support. They will also be working on their crawling skills and beginning to pull themselves up using surfaces to prepare for walking. The butterflies will also be exploring a bee themed messy tuff tray to follow up on last week being Insect Week!
