Celebrating 10 wonderful years at Dunky’s Day Nursery Warrington

This year marks a very special milestone for Dunky’s Day Nursery in Warrington — we’re celebrating 10 amazing years of care and learning. What began as a vision for exceptional early years education has grown into a cherished part of the Warrington community. Nestled in a beautifully restored historic building on Old Liverpool Road — once a well-known public house and hotel — our nursery has transformed over the past decade into a warm, nurturing, and modern space where children can thrive. To mark the occasion, we brought together staff, children, and families for a heartwarming anniversary celebration. Nursery Manager Tracy Towns reflected on the journey: “It’s hard to believe ten years have flown by. We want to say a huge thank you to our dedicated staff, our supportive families, and most of all, to our wonderful children who bring joy to our nursery every single day. “The anniversary party was a chance to really appreciate and reflect on the families and children we have worked with over the years. “We look forward to continuing our journey with the same passion, care, and commitment that has brought us here.”

Our 55-place nursery caters to children from 0 to 5 years, offering: • A calm and comforting Baby Room • A bright and stimulating Toddler Room with direct outdoor access • A spacious, well-resourced Pre-school Room • A large nature-rich garden where children can explore, discover, and connect with the natural world

We’re proud that so many families have grown with us — with siblings following in big brothers’ and sisters’ footsteps. And with many of our caring staff staying with us for years, we’ve built a strong sense of continuity and trust for both parents and children.

Recognised Excellence Dunky’s Warrington recently received praise from Ofsted, which highlighted our: • Warm and welcoming atmosphere • Strong leadership and effective management • Thoughtfully designed curriculum that supports each child’s development
