Red House Nursery celebrates a Good from Ofsted

Red House are excited to announce that they have recently gained a Good from Ofsted. The nursery located in Burwell were awarded a 'good' rating in every area inspected by Ofsted: education quality; behaviour and attitudes; personal development; and leadership and management.

The inspection took place in April 2024 and highlights that "Children make good progress with their learning and development. There is an ambitious curriculum which helps children build on their skills and prepares them for the next stage in their learning. Staff identify and support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and provide individualised support to help children make good progress."

The report also described the popular local nursery as an environment where children "feel safe" and staff members "build strong, trusting relationships" with them.

Red House is situated on the High Street and offers high-quality childcare to children from 3 months - 5 years. The nursery is divided into three main rooms with ample space for children to explore and discover along with a lovely outside area to grow vegetables and flowers. Due to the nursery's location, there are also ample opportunities to visit local amenities such as the local duck pond and windmill. No two days are the same!
