A visit from the vet

We love engaging with our local community, so to support this we invited our local Vet to come an see our older 'school ready' children.

The nurse came to our setting and even brought along her friend Betty, the dog, as a live role play to show the children what she does on a day to day basis.

This included checking for injuries and how to wrap Betty's paw, if she had hurt it. The children's favourite part was wrapping their own hands, using the bandages and wrap provided.

By the end of the visit many children commented that they want to be a vet when they grow up.
