The leading day nurseries review site, daynurseries.co.uk, has revealed parents’ Top 10 nurseries in 12 regions in the UK, as well as the top nursery groups.
The Top 10 nurseries are decided by their review score which is given by parents and carers. The nurseries are rated on their overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources/equipment/ ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.
Davina Ludlow, director of daynurseries.co.uk, called it a “wonderful achievement to be recognised as one of the best nurseries by the families and carers of the children that attend the setting”.
She added: “Reviews of the Top 10 nurseries show these settings both stimulate and nurture children and ensure they develop physically and socially.
“The brain is at its most receptive during the first five years of a child’s life, which is why we decided to recognise those nurseries, which are providing an excellent environment for learning and development.”
daynurseries.co.uk has also compiled a list of the Top 10 large, mid-size and small nursery groups, with Ms Ludlow saying: “The ethos and vision of a nursery group can have a huge impact on children’s lives, teaching them resilience and developing their emotional and social wellbeing, which will act as a foundation for their whole lives.”
