Your Role as a Cleaner

As a Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the nursery by ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. You’ll work closely with the nursery team to support a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out general cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces

Maintaining cleanliness in key areas such as playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces

Using cleaning products safely and in accordance with health & safety guidelines

Ensuring all areas meet high standards of hygiene, especially in line with childcare regulations

Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to management

Supporting the wider nursery team in creating a clean, safe environment for children and staff

About You

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness

Flexible and able to adapt to different needs across the nursery

Understanding of COSHH and basic health & safety

Friendly and respectful attitude, with a team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time /10 hours per week /Monday to Friday/£12.75 per hour.
