At Shooting Stars Bromsgrove, we're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our welcoming nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive setting where children are encouraged to explore, learn and thrive through meaningful play and nurturing relationships.

Whether you're bringing years of experience or have recently qualified, you'll be joining a nursery group that invests in its people, values high-quality practice, and supports ongoing professional development.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing during the most important years of their lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a key person and building strong relationships with children and families
  • Supporting children's care routines and emotional wellbeing
  • Delivering engaging activities and learning experiences tailored to children's interests and developmental needs
  • Observing, assessing and recording children's progress in line with the EYFS
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can flourish
  • Encouraging children's communication, confidence, independence and social development
  • Working in partnership with parents and carers to support each child's learning journey
  • Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain exceptional standards of care and education
What We're Looking ForEssential
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Experience working within a nursery, preschool or childcare setting
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
  • A positive, reliable and professional approach to teamwork
