About The Study Nursery

At The Study Nursery, we believe that exceptional Early Years education starts with exceptional people. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our team and help create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident, happy and excited to learn.

Whether you hold a Level 2 or higher Early Years qualification, or you are an experienced nursery practitioner without a formal qualification, we would love to hear from you. What matters most is your experience, your understanding of young children and your commitment to providing high-quality care and learning.

As part of Inspired Learning Group, you’ll be part of a supportive network of independent schools and nurseries, with access to ongoing training, professional development and opportunities to progress your career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspire: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Support: Provide warm, responsive care and build positive relationships with every child.
  • Observe: Carry out observations and contribute to children's individual learning and development records.
  • Communicate: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and families, sharing information about their child's progress and wellbeing.
  • Protect: Follow EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies to ensure children are safe and well cared for.
  • Contribute: Work positively as part of the nursery team and contribute to a welcoming, stimulating environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • A Level 2 or higher DfE-approved Early Years qualification – desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant nursery experience.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool or childcare setting.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
  • A caring, patient and positive approach to working with young children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • A genuine commitment to providing high-quality care, learning and development.

Why Join The Study Nursery?

  • Competitive salary up to £31,185 per annum (FTE), dependent on experience.
  • Annual salary reviews.
  • 4-day-per-week contract options to support a better work-life balance.
  • Discounted childcare for your own children.
  • Free lunch during your working day.
  • Generous annual holiday allowance.
  • Health and wellbeing support.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Career progression opportunities across Inspired Learning Group.
  • A supportive team where your contribution is valued.
