Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills within a dynamic early childhood education setting. The ideal applicant will have experience working with children, possess strong communication skills, and hold relevant childcare qualifications.

Duties

  • Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote children's development across all areas.
  • Foster a caring and inclusive environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and outdoor activities ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in line with regulatory standards.
  • Support parents and guardians through effective communication regarding their child's development and well-being.

38 hours per week in Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)

Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
  • Valid driving licence is desirable
  • Ability to organise activities effectively while managing multiple priorities.
