Modern Montessori International is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and experienced Montessori Teacher and Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established day nursery in East Croydon.
This is an opportunity to work in a genuine Montessori environment where you can use your training to support children’s independence, confidence, concentration and love of learning. About the role
You will:
Deliver high-quality learning experiences through the EYFS and Montessori curriculum.
Give individual and small-group Montessori presentations.
Prepare and maintain an attractive, organised Montessori environment.
Support children in developing independence, confidence and concentration.
Act as a key person and build secure relationships with children and their families.
Observe and assess children’s development and plan meaningful next steps.
Work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent standards of care and education.
Communicate positively and professionally with parents and carers.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures.
About you
Skills / Qualifications
- You must have: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification. A recognised Montessori teaching qualification. Experience of working in an early years or nursery setting. Good knowledge of the EYFS and Montessori principles. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. A caring
- patient and professional approach. Good communication
- organisation and teamwork skills. The right to work in the UK.
