Job Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Room Leader to join our Reggio Emilia Inspired team and oversee the daily operations of our Toddler Room. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of 2 years and under and possess strong leadership skills to manage a small team effectively. Experience of Planning In The Moment would be advantageous.
Duties
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
- Lead children's play and learning
- Implement early childhood education programmes
- Manage the nursery room environment to ensure a safe and nurturing space for children
- Drive continuous improvement in childcare practices
Skills / Qualifications
- Previous experience with 2 year olds and under in a nursery setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Qualifications in childcare and early childhood education (full and relevant at least Level 3)
- Proficient in English language
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of nursery staff
- Strong understanding of child development and the ability to use this to implement curriculum
- Strong understanding and implementation of Safeguarding Children and Health & Safety principles
