Your Role as Deputy Nursery Manager
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding are maintained.
Leadership and Management
- Support the Nursery Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire staff to deliver exceptional childcare and learning experiences.
- Act as the designated person in the Manager's absence.
- Assist with staff supervision, training, mentoring, and performance management.
Deliver Outstanding Early Years Education
- Ensure the EYFS framework is implemented effectively across the nursery.
- Monitor the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
- Support staff in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's developme
Safeguarding and Compliance
- Promote a strong safeguarding culture and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Support compliance with Ofsted requirements, statutory regulations, and nursery policies.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing throughout the setting.
Build Strong Partnerships
- Develop positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
- Support effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and wellbeing.
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families.
