Deputy Leader – Afterschool Club

Location: Markethill. Mowhan Road
Hours: 2.00-6.00
Salary: Discussed at interview

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and creative Deputy Leader to join our afterschool club team.

The successful candidate will help provide a safe, fun and welcoming environment for children, with a particular focus on planning and delivering engaging activities that children will enjoy.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage children to participate and develop new skills.
• Support the Club Leader with the daily running of the club.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, safety and positive behaviour.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, enthusiastic and approachable.
• Creative and full of activity ideas.
• Confident working with children.
• Reliable, organised and a good team player.
• Passionate about providing children with a positive afterschool experience.

Previous experience working with children is desirable.
