Duties

  • Lead and manage the nursery team in a room to deliver outstanding childcare and early childhood education services
  • Oversee daily activities, ensuring they are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with developmental milestones
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations to create a secure environment for children and staff
  • Coordinate schedules, manage resources, and oversee the implementation of curriculum plans
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and learning experiences within the nursery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a childcare or nursery setting with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education or childcare environments
  • Knowledge of nursery operations, health & safety standards, and child development principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
  • Passionate about early childhood development with a proactive approach to problem-solving
