As part of our ongoing development, we are introducing elements of the Montessori philosophy into our curriculum and embarking on an exciting outdoor learning project, giving children a voice and a sense of ownership in shaping their environment.

The Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Level 3 qualified Bank Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team.

This is a flexible bank position with the security of a guaranteed minimum of hours per week, with additional hours available to cover staff holidays, training, sickness, and periods of increased occupancy.

As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play.

• Build warm and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Support children's individual learning and development through engaging activities.

• Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team.

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene.

• Contribute positively to the daily running of the nursery.

• Support our Montessori-inspired approach and outdoor learning experiences where appropriate.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years Education (essential).

• Knowledgeable about child development and the EYFS framework.

• Passionate about providing outstanding care and education.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different rooms and age groups.

• A positive team player with excellent communication skills.

• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Familiarity with Montessori principles is welcomed but not essential.
