Baby Room Nursery Practitioner

We are looking to expand our friendly team in Reading. An Early Years level 3 qualification and experience are essential for this role, as you will be working in our baby room. We are committed and motivated in our Montessori & Forest School teaching approach, which works alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a high level of education for every child. The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a strong staff team and have a love for children.

Daily responsibilities:

• To ensure the wellbeing, health, and education of our children, through Montessori practice.
• To work as a key person to a group of children, supporting their needs and working closely with their families to support their development.
• To work as part of the team within the daily rota of allocated positions/job tasks.
• Ensure the nursery’s safe practices/policies and procedures are always adhered to.
• Take an interest in CPD – continuing to further their knowledge within childcare practices.

Qualifications/experience required:

• Full and recognised Level 3 childcare qualification
• Experience of working with children aged between 9 months – 5 years old.

The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8 am-6 pm, 51 weeks of the year, only closing for Bank holidays, inset days and a week at Christmas.
