Shooting Stars Nurseries Bromsgrove is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Room Leader to join our leadership team. Depending on your experience and strengths, you will have the opportunity to lead either our Pre-Toddler or Pre-School room, supporting children through some of the most important stages of their early development.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a well-established room, inspire a team of practitioners, and help deliver exceptional care and education within a supportive nursery environment where quality and professional development are genuinely valued.

The RoleAs a Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care, learning and wellbeing.
- Inspire, support and develop a team of practitioners, apprentices and students.
- Create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
- Act as a Key Person and build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Support children's individual development, interests and next steps in learning.
- Champion inclusive practice and support children with additional needs.
- Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, reflective practice and readiness for inspection.
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
- Significant experience within a nursery or early years setting.
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A positive and professional approach to leading a team.
- Are passionate about providing outstanding experiences for children.
- Enjoy supporting and developing others.
- Lead by example and inspire confidence in your team.
- Are committed to high-quality practice and continuous improvement.
