Job Summary

As a Domestic Helper, the purpose of your post will be to:
- To support staff in day-to-day domestic tasks
- To ensure all the laundry is completed daily
- To help staff clean up after meal times
- To prepare children's nap time beds
- To help the chef wash up after meals
- To regularly sanitise touch points
- To help keep the staff room tidy
- To monitor stock and report to management any order needs
- To carry trays of food to the children's rooms
- To monitor toilet cleanliness throughout the day
- To support staff in cleaning up messy activities
- To use own initiative and ask the manager where support is needed
The role will be Monday- Friday from 9 am - 5 pm, or 9 am - 3.00 pm. (For the right candidate, hours could be amended).

Safeguarding
We have named persons within the nursery who take lead
responsibility for safeguarding and
co-ordinate child
protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated
Safeguarding Leads (DSL), there is always at least one
designated person on duty during the opening hours of the
setting.
All applicants should be aware that a huge part of
the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any
harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check,
thorough referencing, an induction programme, and 3 months’
probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of
training upon starting their role.
