Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term time only)

Woodroyd Nursery and Children's Centre is an independent registered charity delivering Ofsted-rated Outstanding early years education. We are seeking a caring and experienced SEN Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team in our enhanced provision room.

About the Role

As an SEN Early Years Practitioner, you will maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and learning, while delivering individualised support to help each child achieve their full potential

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children aged 2-5 years with special educational needs within the Enhanced Provision Room.
  • Provide individual and group support to promote children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that meets children's individual needs.
  • Follow the graduated approach to SEND, contributing to support plans, reviews, reports, and EHC assessment requests.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support children's progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor children's development and outcomes.
