Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Job Summary
Playtime Daycare Dagenham is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering high-quality, child-centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS and committed to maintaining an environment that supports Ofsted Outstanding standards. This role involves working shift patterns between 7:30am and 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children’s holistic development.

• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and parent discussions.

• Adhere to all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery operational policies.

• Support daily room routines, ensuring consistency and a high-quality learning environment.

• Participate in continuous professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential).

• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.

• Knowledge of safeguarding and commitment to promoting child welfare.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in a nursery setting (desirable).
