The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and operational excellence.

You will:

• Lead and inspire a dedicated nursery team
• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
• Ensure outstanding standards in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
• Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training
• Oversee nursery occupancy, compliance, and operational performance
• Champion safeguarding and child wellbeing at all times

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Passionate about early years education and child development
• An experienced nursery leader with strong people-management skills
• Confident in leading inspections and maintaining high standards
• Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
• Warm, approachable, and committed to creating a positive culture

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (minimum)
• Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager role
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
