Nursery Practitioner level 3

Job Description:

Gummy Bears Nursery is looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a playful, imaginative, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be full of energy, creativity, and compassion, and will enjoy engaging with young children in both structured and spontaneous ways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage warmly with children, creating a joyful and safe environment.

• Take part in imaginative play (including being a princess, superhero, or anything a child dreams up).

• Comfort children with love, patience, and plenty of hugs.

• Participate in singing, storytelling (even upside-down), and hands-on messy play.

• Maintain awareness and supervision at all times 

• Accept that messy clothing and mystery stains are part of the uniform.

• Collaborate with your team to create fun and enriching learning experiences.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

• Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the update service)

• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to train)

• Sound knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding
