Job summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join our vibrant team. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development.
• Manage daily activities, including planning lessons, supervising playtime, and maintaining cleanliness in the nursery setting.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting programmes as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the quality of care and education provided.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education and childcare.

Requirements

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing or guiding a team within a nursery or educational environment.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
• Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
• Previous experience working with children is essential, demonstrating an understanding of their behaviours and learning styles.
