We are looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our warm, nurturing, family-focused educational nursery.
We are very ambitious for the nursery. Our vision is stated simply:
“To become the leading educational nursery in our region”
The successful candidate will be pivotal in helping to shape the continued growth and vision of the nursery and to move us towards our vision.
Bertie’s Nursery is a place where children are truly known, families feel welcomed, and educators are valued for the incredible work they do every day. We believe early childhood should feel joyful, calm, creative, and full of meaningful connection for children and adults alike.
We are seeking a leader who shares those values.
This role would suit an experienced Nursery Manager, or a strong Deputy ready to step into leadership, who is passionate about creating an outstanding early years environment while building a happy, supported team culture.
About the Role
You will:
-
Lead the daily life of the nursery with warmth, professionalism, and confidence.
-
Create a nurturing and inspiring environment for children and families
-
Lead, support, and develop a close-knit team.

Maintain high standards across safeguarding, care, and learning.
-
Support staff wellbeing and create a positive workplace culture.
-
We are looking for someone who combines strong leadership with kindness, emotional intelligence, and a genuine love for early years education.
What We Offer

That’s why we offer:

-
Paid training and focused professional development.
-
Genuine autonomy and input into the nursery’s development and direction.
-
Supportive owners and leadership.
-
Large Childcare discount (where required).
-
Beautifully resourced learning environments and an opportunity to shape this.
-
A close, caring team who value collaboration and respect.
-
Most importantly, you will join a nursery where people matter — children, families, and staff alike.
About You
You are someone who will focus on what needs to be done to deliver the vision for Bertie’s and who:
