Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Support children’s individual needs through personalised care and attention
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure consistency in care and educational approaches
  • Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the nursery setting
  • Assist with the organisation of daily routines, including meal times, naps, and outdoor play
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues using clear and professional language
  • Support the ongoing professional development of yourself and team members through training sessions

Requirements

  • recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
  • Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and support team cohesion
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of current childcare legislation and best practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
  • Passionate about working with children and committed to their well-being and development
