Job summary

• Hours / shifts: 35hrs a week (4 days shifts 8am till 6pm) with an hours lunch break and 15mins afternoon break


• Holiday allowance: 20 days holiday (days of which need to be used for Christmas closure) with the 8 days bank holiday – 28 in total for 4 day workers pro rata for 3

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Support children’s learning and development through play
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Carry out observations and assessments to track progress
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and nurturing nursery environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • A good understanding of the EYFS
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
