The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to
lead our setting with confidence, vision, and a genuine love for early
years education. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated
professional who has a proven track record of driving high occupancy,
mentoring teams, and maintaining exceptional standards of care and
learning while working collaboratively with two supportive owners.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery
· Drive and maintain high occupancy through excellent parent engagement and reputation
· Mentor, support, and develop a team of early years practitioners
· Ensure compliance with all EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
· Maintain outstanding standards of care, education, and health & safety
· Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider community
· Oversee curriculum planning to ensure rich, engaging learning experiences
· Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance effectively
Requirements
· Significant experience in an early years leadership/management role
· A genuine passion for early years education and child development
· Proven track record of increasing and maintaining high nursery occupancy
· Strong experience mentoring, coaching, and developing staff teams
· Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices
· Level 3 qualification in Early Years (minimum) – Level 5 or above desirable
· Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
· Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
