About our Nursery
The Old Station Nursery Iver, conveniently located on Iver High
Street, has been a part of the local community for over 20 years. Iver
is a lovely two-storey nursery is set within a converted church
building, with a well-resourced outdoor area, encouraging an active
lifestyle and outdoor play. At The Old Station Nursery Iver, we offer
excellent nursery care with the addition of three distinct learning
enhancements for our children; these are child-friendly cooking
classes and language lessons, both delivered in a Montessori inspired
way that fosters strong connections between children and the world
around them. The nursery is easily accessible with plenty of parking
available off street.
What being a Nursery Room Leader involves
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years
education with passion and energy.
• Supporting the Nursery
Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent
quality.
• Acting as a role model by promoting initiative,
creativity, and high standards of care.
• Building strong
relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to
support the best outcomes for children.
• Overseeing the team’s
implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning
opportunities.
• Taking charge of nursery operations in the
Nursery Manager’s absence.
• Encouraging continuous improvement
through feedback and supporting professional development.

Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets
each child’s needs.
