THE ROLE
As a Nursery Practitioner you will:
- Support the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children aged 21/2 - 41/2 years.
- Plan and deliver stimulating, inclusive activities that spark curiosity.
- Act as a keyworker, assessing and recording progress using Tapestry and other systems.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Help maintain a safe, well-presened learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to prepare activities, support routines and contribute to a warm, positive team culture.
ABOUT YOU
You will thrive with us if you are:
- Qualified at Level 2 or above in Childcare (level 3 DfE approved Qualification is desirable).
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
- Experienced in working with Nursery & Pre-school aged children.
- Warm, enthusiastic and committed to high quality early years practice.
- A strong communicator who builds trusting relationships
- A proactive team player, happy to get involved indoors and outdoors.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our Nursery operates between 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. Practitioners work an 8 hour shift (with a 1 hour lunch break), typically 8am - 4pm or 10am - 6pm.
Outdoor learning is integral to our approach, and we are set in stunning grounds that support this ethos. We are seeking someone who shares this commitment and enjoys working as part of an experienced, supportive team.
