We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team on a part-time basis (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking setting that prioritises both children’s development and staff wellbeing.

About the Role

You will play a key role in creating a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and grow. Working closely with a small team, you’ll support each child’s individual development through meaningful play and attentive care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support all areas of development
  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing throughout the day, including during play, meals, and rest
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued
  • Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on progress and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate developmental records in line with regulatory requirements
  • Support the implementation of nursery policies and daily routines
  • Assist with outings and occasional use of company vehicles where required
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive team culture

About You

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
  • Good understanding of early years frameworks and child development
  • Organised, proactive, and able to use your initiative
  • A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
  • A driving licence is desirable but not essential

Why Join Us?
