Job summary

Nursery on the Heath is a small, community-focused nursery offering a warm and nurturing environment for up to 63 children. We have three welcoming playrooms, two secure garden areas, and regular access to a local park and woodlands, supporting rich outdoor learning experiences.

We are proud of our Good Ofsted rating and our long-standing, dedicated staff team, who are passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care.

The Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

• Help lead and support a stable, experienced team
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Ensure high standards of care, learning and safeguarding
• Work in line with Development Matters and our nursery-written curriculum and planning model
• Build positive relationships with families and the local community

This role is ideal for a deputy manager who enjoys working in a smaller setting, where relationships matter and you can make a real impact.

About You

You will:

• Hold a relevant Early Years qualification
• Have previous nursery management or deputy management experience
• Be confident in leading, motivating and supporting a team
• Be organised, approachable and passionate about early years education
