Northbourne Park School is a thriving Independent day and boarding school for children aged 2-14, set in beuatiful rural grounds near Deal and Sandwich. Our Squirrels Nursery provides a warm, inspiring and adventurous early years enviroment, with exceptional outdoor learning spaces, small class sizes, and specialist teaching in Music, french and PE, our Nursery is an integral part of our Pre-prep community.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead our Squirrels Nursery as we expand our provision from 38 to 48 weeks. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate practitioner to join a school that values nature, creativity, early independence, and a nurturing family atmosphere at an exciting time of development.

About The Role

The Nursery Manager will provide strong leadership for the Nursery team, ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding. You will champion our outdoor-led ethos, work closely with the Head of Pre-Prep, and ensure a seamless journey for children moving through the Early years and into reception.

You will be responsible for the day to day operations, EYFS curriculum delivery, ISI compliance, parent partnerships, staff development, and maintaining a safe, stimulating enviroment indoors and outdoors.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified at Level 3 or above (Level 5/6 strongly preferred).
  • Experienced in leading early years practice.
  • Passionate about oudoor learning, child-led exploration, and nurturing the whole child.
  • Confident in EYFS curriculum leadership and knowledgeabe about inspection expectations.
  • Warm, professional, organised and able to inspire and support colleagues.
  • Experienced in building positive relationships with families.
