Level 2/3 Qualified nursery Practitioner – Join Our Friendly Nursery Team!

Cherubs is a small, welcoming, 50-place, family-owned nursery in Farnborough. Our ethos is ‘Learning through play’, and we are passionate about supporting children to grow into confident, resilient, and independent learners.

Conveniently located between Farnborough, Southwood, and Cove, we are close to M3 Junction 4a and just a short walk from Farnborough Main railway station.

Our nursery features a dedicated baby unit (caring for up to 12 children under 2), a free-flow environment across three rooms and the garden for children aged 2+, and a purpose built preschool room + patio area for children aged 3+. We follow an ‘In the Moment Planning’ approach, allowing our practitioners to spend less time on paperwork and more meaningful time with the children.

We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our supportive team. If you have experience working with children under 5 and a good understanding of the EYFS and Development Matters framework, we would love to hear from you.

• Someone who isn’t afraid to get messy and have fun
• A good understanding of policies and procedures
• The ability to build strong relationships with children and their families

First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding training are desirable, but full training will be provided.

Salary: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience

Working hours:

• Full time: 43.5 hours per week
• Part time: Flexible options available (full days preferred, e.g. 3 days per week)

Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Closed on bank holidays and over the Christmas period
