As our Nursery Manager, you will lead the setting with a strong focus on excellence, quality improvement, and professional growth. You’ll model outstanding practice, drive high standards across all rooms, and create a culture where staff are motivated, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on developing others, embedding best practice, and ensuring every child receives the highest-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setting to deliver consistently high-quality early years provision
- Champion exceptional adult–child interactions and purposeful teaching
- Embed best practice aligned with EYFS, Ofsted expectations, and current research
- Drive staff development through coaching, supervision, and performance management
- Monitor quality through learning walks, observations, and audits
- Ensure a well-sequenced, ambitious curriculum that supports strong progress
- Maintain a culture of accountability, professionalism, and excellence
- Oversee safeguarding, welfare, and statutory compliance
- Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
- Ensure the setting remains inspection-ready at all times
