Are you ready to shape something special from the very beginning? We’re opening an exciting new nursery in Walton and are looking for an inspiring, experienced Nursery Leader to lead the way.

This is a wonderful opportunity to build a nurturing, high-quality early years setting from the ground up — creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can truly thrive.

About the Role

As Nursery Leader, you will:

• Lead the nursery’s day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding standards of care and education

• Build, motivate, and support a passionate early years team

• Develop a positive, inclusive culture for children, families, and staff

• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and regulatory requirements

• Oversee planning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Manage occupancy, budgets, and overall performance

• Build strong partnerships with parents and the local community

You’ll play a key role in preparing for our registration with Ofsted and ensuring the nursery is inspection-ready from day one.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 5/6 preferred)

• Experienced in a leadership role within an early years setting

• Confident in safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory standards

• Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare

• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware

• Warm, approachable, and inspiring

A strong understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.
