Job summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years.

Duties

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that support the developmental milestones of each child.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
  • Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track their progress.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day.
  • Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among children.
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage groups of children effectively while fostering an atmosphere of respect and encouragement.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to drive children's learning through play-based approaches.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early childhood education.
