Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO Practitioner to support our provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with the SENCO, staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure high-quality support and progress for pupils with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SENCO with the development, implementation and monitoring of SEND provision across the school.
- Work with teachers to identify pupils with SEND and contribute to effective planning and interventions.
- Help to assess needs, maintain records, and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Liaise with parents/carers, external agencies and support services.
- Attend relevant meetings, reviews and case conferences.
