Nursery Manager

Job summary

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager (or experienced Deputy  Nursery Manager ready to step up) with proven leadership experience of at least 2 years to join our team.

As a highly motivated and organised leader, you'll drive excellence in our nursery, leading a team with your expertise, creativity, and people skills.

Role Purpose:

- Manage the nursery day-to-day, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and Ofsted expectations.

- Be a role model for staff, showcasing high-quality practice with children, staff, and parents

- Promote safety, security, and wellbeing for all

- Act as Designated Safeguarding Person in the DSL's absence

- Lead the nursery to Outstanding with Ofsted

- Drive development through a rigorous action plan

Requirements:

- Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Childcare (or higher).

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

- 3+ years' nursery experience (preferred)

- 3+ years' childcare experience (preferred)

- Excellent leadership, time management, and people skills

- Passion for learning and team development

- Paediatric First Aid certified

- DBS
