Nursery Chef – Miss Potter’s Garden at 388 Streatham Hub Nursery
Miss Potter’s Garden at 388 Streatham Hub Nursery is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Chef to join our caring team.
At Miss Potter’s Garden, we believe that healthy eating starts early. We aim to provide delicious, nutritious meals that are cooked from scratch using natural ingredients, supporting children’s growth, development, and enjoyment of food.
About the role:

Preparing fresh, balanced meals and snacks for up to 36 children, including babies

Creating nutritious, age-appropriate menus that meet children’s dietary and allergen needs

Managing the nursery kitchen and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

Ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, food safety regulations, and best practice
About you:

A qualified and experienced chef with a wealth of experience in a nursery or early years kitchen

Strong understanding of EYFS and statutory food and nutrition requirements
-
Confident cooking for babies and young children

Passionate about healthy eating and cooking from scratch

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Qualifications:

Food Safety Level 3 (essential)

Paediatric or Emergency First Aid (essential)

Culinary school qualification (desirable)
