Job summary

Due to expansion we are recruiting for 2 full time and 1 part time Nursery practitioners.

Little Crickets Nursery is a thriving, highly successful nursery that is an all year round Nursery in Frome, Somerset for children from 6 months to 4 years. We are part of Springmead School. We are entirely committed to supporting children to be confident, curious learners and offer each child rich extra-curricular experiences - we have been recognised for this in national awards.

You will be caring, playful, a communicator, a mathematician, a scientist, a thinker and a dreamer, who can support our youngest children in their first steps on their learning adventure here at Springmead. You will be inspired and amazed by their interests, their insights, their friendships, feel proud as they develop and learn in a stunning setting that you will be leading with a team of inspirational members. You believe in strong parent partnerships and work hard to build these.

You will be part of explosions of learning in the Nursery, organising, teaching and creating ideas to help children achieve milestones, delighting in the achievements of every single child. You will be part of a supportive network of colleagues who act with one mind: to create a strong team that seeks out new and old ways of working to provide rich experiences for the children in our care.

We are looking for 2 full time, 1 x 4 days a week, 8-6pm and 1 x 5 days a week from 7.15am to approx 4pm and a part time, (2 - 3 days a week, hours negotiable) Level 3 Nursery Practitioners, but there is opportunity to extend this part time position's hours to cover staff holiday.

You must be Level 3 qualified in Early Years for these positions
