About you
Do you enjoy spending time with young children, engaging with them and helping them learn? Do you care about their happiness and well-being? We would love for you to join our team! We have a variety of possible working hours, from full time (40 hours) or 2/3 full days (8-6), or Monday-Friday 8am-12/1pm and 1pm/2pm-6pm.

Duties

  • Implement Planning In The Moment for 0-5 year olds.
  • Incorporate the Reggio Emelia Approach into practice
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for all children and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys.
  • Manage daily routine, ensuring that all children are supervised and engaged in age-appropriate play and learning experiences.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and development.
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
  • Drive initiatives that promote children's health, safety, and well-being within the nursery environment.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff members and contributing to their professional development.
  • The full roles and responsibilities agreed upon will determine the rate of pay within these perameters

Skills / Qualifications:

  • A recognised Level 3 Qualification in Early Years care and Education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development through play-based learnin
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A willingness to engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills as an Early Years Educator
