Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to join a nurturing, high-quality setting within a private school? St Gabriel’s Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our warm and welcoming team.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and education for nursery children. You’ll work closely with your room team to create a stimulating environment that supports each child’s learning journey, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our child-led “in the moment” planning approach.

·  Act as a Key Person for a group of children, supporting their development and maintaining accurate records via IConnect.

·  Engage in play-based learning and promote progress across all areas of development.

·  Ensure children’s nutritional, hygiene, and safety needs are met with care and professionalism.

·  Build strong relationships with parents and carers through clear communication and partnership.

·  Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and compliance with safeguarding policies.

·  Support the team during inspections, training, and nursery events.

What we’re looking for

·  Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years Education

·  Minimum 1 years’ experience working with children under five

·  Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

·  Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
